The Prince of Wales International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF)

The Prince of Wales International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF) www.csrforum.com is an international not-for-profit organization which was founded in 1990 to promote socially responsible business practices that benefit business and society, and which help achieve socially, economically and environmentally sustainable development. The Forum works at the very highest levels in over 60 of the world's leading multinational companies, and is active in some 50 emerging and transition economies.

Recognizing that successful business functioning in many countries requires an enabling civil and regulatory framework, the IBLF provides in-depth research on practices, approaches, and trends to foster a policy environment in which businesses can thrive in a global economy. For twelve years IBLF has worked to develop cross-sector partnerships that extend the benefits of globalization, build corporate reputation, strengthen security, and enhance long-term shareholder value.

The Enterprise and Economic Development Programme researches the impact of business linkages between large and small companies around the world. This research is documented in Business of Enterprise - Meeting the challenge of economic development through business and community partnerships.
